This beautiful Fine Tribal Afghan Tekke Bokhara Rug was woven by desert Nomads in the Northern region of Afghanistan. It is a recent weave and very fine weave and is in excellent brand new condition. This is a beautifully woven rug, extra heavy and suitable for commercial purposes.
It is all woollen construction, woven on a woollen warp and weft. It has a most attractive colour depth of reds and indigos throughout the field. The wool has a lovely silky luster and the rug is quite a fine weave as seen on the close up shot. It is a beautiful simple repeated gul medallion design on an open field. The colours are predominantly reds and indigos.
Tribal rugs of this quality are saught after and in high demand and should serve the owner well for many years.
Most desirable and ideal for a heavy traffic area.
