"Insignificant Inclusions (VVS2)"
This is for our sapphires that have very, very little Visible(inclusions, seen) mostly from a side angle.
"Very Slightly Included (VS1, VS2)"
This would be for inclusions only slightly visible on close inspection, small internal crystals, but not serious at all in plain view.
"Lightly Included (SI2, SI1)"
This clarity grading will show some visible inclusions, they would not overpower the light or color in the sapphire, but are visible.
"Included (I, SI3)"
Inclusions are visible, they hinder the color and light reflection to varying extents.
COLOR INTENSITY GRADING
"Vivid"
Is the strongest Color intensity rating for our sapphires. This classification is for the most color saturation possible without going towards opaque or "over-colored".
"Intense"
Is one shade less than vivid. This is an exceptionally fine color intensity classification.
"Strong"
Could be classified 2 ways, a sapphire that is a shade less than intense, or to a sapphire that is overly colored, or going towards having opaque characteristics.
"Medium Strong"
Is a color intensity stronger than a Medium intensity. For sapphires that are bright and 55-65% color saturation. A bright reflection of light that shows well in both low and bright light environments.
"Medium"
Is a shade stronger than a Medium light color intensity this is used on most sapphires that are bright {and 50% color saturation.
"Medium Light"
Is a color intensity lighter than Medium, about 25 - 35% color light reflection. This is a sapphire that is light color and usually shows brighter white light reflection.
"Light"
Is a shade lighter than a Medium light.This classification is for a sapphirethat shows a majority of white light reflection or a very pastel color intensity.
