The RNLI is a registered charity that saves lives at sea. It provides, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service to 100 miles out from the coast of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland and a beach lifeguard service on 71 beaches in England. The RNLI continues to rely on voluntary contributions and legacies for its income.

1/72 scale RNLI SEVERN CLASS LIFEBOAT MODEL KIT made by AIRFIX (Model no.07280) .

BRAND  NEW MODEL KIT (SEALED BOX) 

This plastic model kit build in to a detailed 1/72 scale RNLI all weather Severn class lifeboat that was introduced to the service in 1995 and station at many lifeboat stations around the country. It has a range of 250 nautical miles and top speed of 25 knots. Full detail of the outside deck, hull and fittings are included and by removing the cabin roof, a fully detailed interior can be viewed. The decal sheet will allow any one of the current operational Severn class lifeboats to be modelled. Kit does not come with any paints or glue. When built 236mm long x 78mm high - 189pcs.

 Airfix donate 60 pence from each model sale to the RNLI and I am also making a donation of each sale via E-bay.

   Recommended for ages 8 to adults (Skill level 3)
