ALEX BIRD is the last of the legendary punters. The rules have now changed, and a combination of new taxes and increased bookmaking commissions have made his exploits a matter of history rather than ambition. This sometimes controversial biography tells his life story and explains his legendary coups, his racing secrets, how to win, how not to lose, and all about the personalities of that time. A great read.

This hardback book was published in 1985, it is in EXCELLENT condition with no stains or creases. There are 255 clean pages, there are no inscriptions. The dust wrapper is in a VERY GOOD  condition but has been price clipped.
