This beautiful Fine Genuine Persian Lilian Borchalu Village Rug was woven by villagers in the Western region of Iran . This rug was woven about 20 years ago, fully colour matured and in excellent condition; thick and strong in excellent condition.

It has a woollen pile , woven on a strong cotton warp and weft. It has a most attractive colour balance of reds blues indigos cream and touches of pink. The soft wool has a lovely silky luster and the rug is quite a fine weave as seen on the close up shot. The attractive central medallion design is quite typical of this type of weave. The rug has a beautiful patina.

Tribal rugs of this quality are saught after and in high demand and should serve the owner well for many years. It is a good strong heavy weave. Most desirable and ideal for a heavy traffic area.
