Andromeda is leading an emergency convoy of cargo ships with medical supplies to the planet of Rodina where an epidemic is killing millions. The quickest route to Rodino is through Drago-Hazou territory, so while Beka & Rommie defend the fleet from space, Dylan and Tyr attempt to neutralise the Nietzchean command centre from the ground, where they encounter an old enemy of Tyr's.

The high guard ship leads Dylan to the planet of Tarazed, where the descendents of the original Andromeda crew have been waiting for the return of Dyland for generations.
