As always, I am absolutely thrilled to be reborning a prototype originally sculpted by Linde Scherer. Linde's work is of the highest standards in the world, and this little girl is no exception. She's one of Linde's latest sculpts called ''Rieke''. This little girl is 19'' long and is the size of a cuddly one month old baby. She has micro rooted hair in medium brown which can be combed into lovely soft swirls. I spent a lot of time on finer details in her little face and, also with particular attention, to her hands and feet. Rieke has got the most amazing Polyglass eyes in Chuck Hazel that suit her complexion and hair colour very well indeed. Enjoy!

For those of you who are new to the wonderful world of reborning, I have been creating little Angels for nearly 4 years now. My babies have been adopted by delighted Moms from all around the world. I am constantly striving to improve and grow at the artform of reborning that I love and am passsionately dedicated to. Living out the talent that God gave me, is a pleasure beyond compare.

The beginning

I was just so exited and honored when I was asked to reborn this new sculpt by Linde Scherer. I trust to you viewing this baby, my true passion and exitement will shine through in this little girl. As mentioned, she is the prototype sculpt called ''Rieke'' by Linde. Thank you very much for the opportunity to reborn this little girl.

Rieke's truly realistic ''real life'' complexion was achieved through the use of Genesis heat-set paints. Her colors will never fade. I mix my own colours anew each time I start painting my angels.

The lifelike mottled effect of her skin was achieved through multiple layers of subtle shading over a period of time. Her shading has been done a bit softer, with delicate but stronger overtones to give her the appearance of a one month old baby.

It is my own technique that is constantly evolving as I strive to create the most lifelike babies possible.

Every little crease and fold of Rieke's head and limbs have been detailed, blushed and shaded to achieve realism.

Rieke has got soft veins painted on her little face and limbs. Never too bold as to overshadow her amazing ''real life'' complexion.

Body

Rieke has been given a brand new cloth body, custom designed, and is in perfect proportion to her head and limbs. Her limbs are very easy to pose.

Her body has been filled with soft fiberfill that will never clott and glass pelletts. Little Rieke's body is soft and cuddly and has been realistically weighted. Once you pick her up, you just can't put her down.

Rieke's limbs have been filled with glass granules and have also been weighted to perfection.

Her head has been weighted with slightly larger glass pellets and needs a little support when she is picked up, just like a real baby.

Hair

Rieke's hair has been Micro hand Rooted with Medium Dark Brown Premium Angora Mohair. one strand at a time. This truly amazingingly soft and silky hair was made by Susan Nagel.

I rooted Rieke's hair directionally correct which makes it very easy to style her hair naturally.

Her hair can be gently combed, styled and washed with the aid of a little water and baby shampoo, as it has been glued on the inside on his head.

Her new Mom can style her hair straight or whip it up into lovely soft waves.

Nose, Mouth & Eyes

I gently opened Rieke's little nostrils and backed it with dark felt to create even more depth and realism to her features.

Her lips and tongue have seperate but unique realistic colours that match her complexion and age perfectly.

Rieke has a magnetic pacifier/dummy to sooth her when she gets lonely.

Please let me know if you wish to have the magnets removed from Rieke and her pacifier, as they are strong and could effect appliances, computers and pace makers.

Rieke has got stunning Polyglass eyes in Chuck Hazel that have been sealed with Glass Finish to give them an alive moist appearance. Please let me know if you would like to know where to purchase these wonderful eyes.

As with little babies, Rieke has got tiny red veins and markings on her skin, with blue skintone showing thorugh in all the right places.

Nails

Rieke's petit little nails were given a baby manicure and pedicure.

First I applied a matte sealer as a base and the tips were painted white.

Another 2 coats of matte sealer was then applied for durability.

Her nails now have a tender fresh clipped look.

Returns will only be accepted if contact is made with me within 24hrs of receiving the baby doll. Returns, upon mutual agreement, must be done within 7 days of receipt, and in the condition the baby doll was sent to you.

Shipping/Postage

I only send babies via registered post and the fee for Australia is $25. This includes insurance up to $100 and all packaging. Additional insurance is optional and extra.

Postage to the USA is AU$78.25 via EXPRESS airmail. (about US$72 - depending on the exchange rate at the time). This includes full tracking.

Postage to the UK is AU$99.05via EXPRESS airmail. (about UKP56 - depending on the exchange rate at the time). This includes full tracking.
