2009 UK Strictly Limited Edition Half Speed Direct Metal Mastered LP pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL from the original master tapes, resulting in a better detail resolution and lower noise ratio - 'Danse Manatee' was the first AC album to feature now permanent member Geologist. A 'live' sound permeates the surface audio aesthetic here, but the more intriguing development is the music itself: Geologist contributes live electronics and incidentalvocals; Panda Bear is singing more; the whole thing is more organic, fleshed out and looser, whilst retaining the playful, melodic otherworldliness that characterised their preceding album.
