Translucent black wax  225gram tin

Use to enhance dark areas of grain and to fill small nicks or cracks in timber to give a seasoned look.  Add interest and contrast to a piece of timber.eg. an old chest with a pitted surface will look more interesting  with its roughness and age accentuated. The wax will fill these minor imperfections and show up dark whilst the rest of the smooth timber will be slightly enhanced and shiny but not blackened. Also use to maintain depth of tone of very dark to black wood finishes.

For use on raw or sealed timber. This wax will not replace colour in areas where bleaching has occured- if you have a black finish that is very lightened in patches then this wax will not help cover it- you may need to re-stain the whole surface.

Please note: this product contains mineral turpentine- if you are sensitive to it please choose a different product

*If you have used a variety of other products on your furniture beforehand or it has an unknown finish, it is best to first wash down with 'Furniture Cleaner' & Restorers' Grade steel wool to ensure smooth coverage- especially if silicone type sprays  have been used as these can react with the polish and cause uneven coverage.
