DESCRIPTION

ANTIQUE CHESTNUT BROWN TIMBER SECRETAIRE
PULLDOWN DESK

Colour – Chestnut Brown (yellow)
Age – Approx. 50+ Years old.
Solid timber – no chipboard or veneer
The unit has usage marks and scratches (Refer Picture) as you would expect for its age.
Pull down writing section which then leans on two pull out supports pieces.
Inside the writing desk area are 2 large pigeon holes on both sides of the 3 letter shelves in the middle.
The backboard and bottom section of the secretaire have matching  carved groves and ridges.
Pull out standard draw under the writing section.
Two bottom cupboards with one shelf – comes with key.
Nice solid bottom frame and ball round feet.
This item is in good condition for its age but will need some touch ups to bring it back to its glory.
We have included a picture of the manufacturers stamp on the back but having trouble reading it – Made by a furniture manufacturer in Clifton Hill - Victoria.
