ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN 3PC PARLOUR SUITE LOUNGE SOFA CHAIRS

Description:

This is an absolutely stunning Edwardian parlour suite, circa 1890 - 1910 comprising a 3 seat sofa and 2 corner chairs. Beautiful, elegant and unique it will add class and history to any home, perfectly suited for decorating the modern sunroom / conservatory or study, where you can entertain in style. Sitting on the lounge or chairs it is easy to conjure an image of Edwardian ladies in their fine tea gowns sharing cake and chatter over 100 years ago.

As would be expected of a genuine piece of this age and with intricate detail there have been repairs over time including a professional splint to the back leg of one chair, this repair remains stable and was made early on in the life of the suite, which has been well loved and cared for over the years. There is also a repair to one carved back piece and another has a chip at its base. The dusky pink upholstery is presentable but has some staining, tea stains perhaps and one chair has more obvious marks. Please take time to view pics. carefully as these form the greatest part of the description.

Shipping:

Collection of goods is welcome at a prearranged tme from Allawah, near Hurstville, in Sydney's South. We are happy to arrange courier delivery where possible and try to keep costs to a minimum - the courier we use charges very reasonable rates and we do apply a small packing fee. For transport of VERY large items we recommend Aladdin's transport.
