GORGEOUS ANTIQUE FRENCH CIEL DE LIT/ BED CANOPY/CORONA WITH CHERUB

This antique French ciel de lit or bed corona is absolutely delightful and dates to about 1900. It has the most appealing chubby little gilt cherub, holding aloft a posy of flowers, seated on the top of the decorative gilt brass and bronze frame. There are three chains at the top for ceiling hanging and the finish has a wonderful warm aged shabby chic patina. It measures 22ins in height, including the chains which could be shortened or lengthened if required , and the diameter of the curtain holding ring is 9 & 1/2ins and the overall diameter is 14ins. This lovely antique French ciel de lit simply oozes charm and would be a gorgeous addition to any boudoir. I am sorry but the curtain drapes are not included.
