Vintage unknown, but quite old.

Possibly 1930s, possibly even 1950s; but equally possibly 1900. Please decide for yourself before bidding.

Its construction is of the type that I associate with picnic chairs and director's chairs of my grandparents in 1950s; these items were old then.

Utilitarian and entirely sound and functional but not, I suppose, 'craftsman' quality.

Quite natty, really!

Designed for food / beverages / reading table, this straddles a person in bed.

The centre section lifts up for reading, and back down for a wide food table.

Dimensions are 51cm x 29cm approx.

The table folds for storage when not in use; underside shown in pic 3.
