              You are bidding on what I think is a German Schoenhut Roly Poly clown which was produced in the early 1900s. These were made of papier mache or plaster on a 3 piece hollow frame. The inside bottom is weighted with a bell or musical chime so when you push him down he rolls around and stands back up making a musical sound. This one measures about 8 1/2" tall with approx. 4" diameter which is a smaller version than the other one I have listed  #320438844518 which ends Sun. 11/1. As a result of the action of the toy there is wear with flakes, seperation and hairlines (check the pics). The most noticeable is the tip of the cap, R side of the head and the brown boundary between the blue and yellow paint. This area is where the bottom interior circular form is attached to the upper 2 forms. The facial features are designed nicely. As far as condition I'll let the experts out there decide.
