ANTIQUE STERLING HAND MIRROR International Silver

This is a very pretty antique Sterling Silver mirror marked "International," then a hallmark, then "Sterling."  The actual mirror is very ragged and very raggy - and it's not just my reflection.  In photos #4, 5 and 6 I think you can get an idea of the condition of the actual glass.  The sterling is in exquisite condition compared to the glass and, as a matter of fact, is actually in almost perfect condition - tarnished but not dented or deeply scratched.  When you shake this mirror there's a rattle sound which I asume is loose filler.  Don't want to continue saying how much is wrong with this mirror because it's actually quite pretty and I personally like the contrast of the damaged/shabby glass mirror against the sleek, shiney (after polishing) smooth silver with its intricately patterned border on both sides.  On the back side, the silver side, in addition to the patterned border, there's a linear pattern, etched floral trim and a monogramed "S" in an oval in the center.

The hand mirror measures 12-7/8" in length, tip to tip, 5-1/4" across the widest part and about 1/4" in thickness.  You could replace the glass if you wanted but, as I said, I personally like it.  Take a look at the photos; they're pretty representative.  If you have any questions or need any further information, please email me.  Thanks!
