IT MUST HAVE BEEN MODERNIZED AS THE PLUG AND CORD SEEM NEWER .I HAVE HAD IT FOR OVER 20YEARS IT WORKED THEN BUT IM NOT SURE NOW [NEVER TRIED] LOOKS GREAT ON DESK OF SAME ERA ,DIAL WORKS .NOTHING BROKEN THAT I CAN SEE .
