Circa 1940's and a work of art! Wallis Simpson eat your heart out :) Designed very much in the style of cartier this is an Art Deco designed panther or cat brooch smothered!!! in pave pure white rhinestones which are dazzling in sunshine or not. Stunning, stunning workmanship!  Jet black enamelling for the spots in varying shapes and sizes, superb face! whiskers and ears and 2 ruby red stones for the eyes.  Inset into high gloss yellow gold fill and finished with the traditional brooch closure on the rear.  It weighs in at a substantial 15grams and measures laid flat a large 4cms x 5cms (1 1/2" x 2" inches).  A thick design for a dimensional, 3D effect in excellent antique condition.   To be picky, there is 1 small stone missing just down from the left side of the cats whiskers.  You would be hard pressed to notice it (took me ages) but worth mentioning to you.  Doesn't detract in anyway, there are just soooo many stones.  This piece is unsigned & unhallmarked.  GORGEOUS IN REAL LIFE!
