THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS WITH DOMED GLASS

This beautiful picture LITHOGRAPH of
(please click for information) has exquisite detail and is printed in a similar style to Pears prints.
In the LITHOGRAPH technique the print shows up in very small coloured dots when magnified
Framed in an oval wooden frame plaster moulded with garlands of lilies and painted in a metallic finish; it has an exquisite oval domed glass front.
Original price of £3 10 shillings 6 pence ($7.50) is written in pencil on the back of the frame. At a time when the average wage was about £3 per week, this very expensive picture was often given as a wedding gift to Catholic couples.

57.5cm HIGH X 43cm WIDE X 4cm DEEP
VERY GOOD CONDITION
Some foxing on the back board and masking tape holding it down is coming away. I am not doing any restoration to the back but will leave it for you to choose to do it or not.
