This beautiful Apache Tear raw crystal is made of genuine Apache Tear obsidian. It is also charged up with loving healing Reiki energy by me, before I ship it off to you. (unless you ask me not to charge it, then I won't)
The size of the crystal is approximately 1.5 inches long and 1 inch wide by .85 inch tall and weighs 18 grams. It is the same stone as shown in the pictures. It is a nice sized apache tear with some really powerful energy!
All of my crystals are described to the best of my ability, and the pictures are taken by me in my studio. The pictures, although most of them are nice they don't usually do the crystals justice! I select each and every crystal in my store, by hand, and personally and I wouldn't sell you something that I wouldn't keep myself!
Aside from the specific metaphysical healing properties of each type of gemstones, the shapes also have meaning, so depending on your intention with the stone you should also take the shape of it into consideration.
Raw stones come straight from the earth, they are not processed or polished at all. The properites raw crystals and gemstones exhibit are in the purest form because they are naturally formed and straight from the earth. When choosing a raw crystal pay attention to the metaphysical properties of the crystal as raw crystals energies are amplified to whatever the crystal is used for.

Metaphysical Healing Properties of Apache Tear
Apache Tear is in the obsidian family.
At first glance, looking downward at it, you will probably see it as a black stone possibly with white inclusions on it. The white inclusions are mostly found on the raw pieces of Apache tear but sometimes the roughly tumbled ones too. Upon closer examination when you hold the Apache Tear to the light, you will notice that it is actually transparent!
Folklore says that Apache Tear was made by the tears of the Apache squaw, when they discovered their husbands jumped to their death after a battle instead of facing their enemies without weapons, the Apache women wept over their dead husbands bodies and left these "tears" behind. It is said that one who carries or wears an Apache Tear will never cry again because of this.
Apache Tear is said to remove sadness and grief from the person that carries it with them. It is a very friendly obsidian stone whereas it is not too strong or hard to carry as some of the other obsidians. It is a wonderful gentle but grounding stone.
Apache tear will help to remove negativity from your life, helping it to gently transmutate into positive energy. It can also help one with muscle spasms and aid in relieving stress. Apache Tear will also help to cleanse your aura if you wear it or carry it with you and aids in keeping negativity away from you.
In Reiki work Apache Tear is connected to the root and earth chakras. It will help one to remain grounded but also allow them to see the benefits of living in their physical bodies as well.
My first encounter with Apache Tear was one of those times that a stone finds you. Having known about it for a long time, but never owning a piece, it came at the perfect time to help me get through some difficult, challenging and sometimes sad parts of my life. I personally just love this stone and since getting it, almost always have it around me.
Apache Tear is associated with the astrological sign of Aries.

Rocks and Reiki is run by two people, Starlene & Sami. Starlene is a spiritual teacher that has guided people along their path and study in metaphysical energies and crystals for some time now. She has been studying Reiki since 1993 and teaching it full time since 2000. She thoroughly loves what she does, it is her passion, and being a teacher of light, allows her to do what she loves. She uses Reiki in figuring out which gemstones to purchase, as each crystal and gemstone we offer is hand selected by Starlene and then charged with Reiki energy before shipping.
