BOOSTED AUSTRALIAN ORGANIC CLAY
PRE-MIXED CLAY BLEND FOR DIY FACEMASKS
Australian active clays are rich in valuable minerals, the result of age-old volcanic activity. One of the best skin cleansers available, a clay mask draws out toxins like a magnet – chemicals that have been absorbed into the top layers of your skin through exposure to everyday pollution. Face or body masks stimulate circulation, remove dead skin cells, absorb excess oil and other impurities, and generally improve skin colour and tone, depending on the type of clay used. When a mask is applied, warmth is created beneath the mask: the skin begins to sweat and as a result toxins, waste products and dirt are discharged, cleansing the pores. Used once a week (or twice for particularly oily or acne-prone skin), you will immediately feel the difference.
BOOSTED WITH MINERAL-LITE
AROMA QUEEN Boosted Australian Clay comes in a quality re-useable Stainless Steel canister containing up to 100g of clay (some clays weigh more than others), which will last for many mask applications. The clay is premixed with 50% active clay and 50% Australian Mineral-Lite, inc Zeolite. Australian Mineral-lite Ultrafine, inc Zeolite, is a natural active hydrous alumino-silicate, high in trace elements, that comes from volcanic mineral ore. Zeolites are the only known negatively charged minerals on earth, naturally attracting and absorbing positively charged pollutants. Mineral-lite can be used on its own as an effective clay alternative, or, mixed with other clays, it amplifies the qualities of the natural ingredients it is blended with, improving cationic exchange and absorption rates as well as giving your mask a creamier consistency and making it easier to remove after it has dried.
CHOOSE YOUR COLOUR
Active clays are available in different colours, depending on their mineral content. Choose your colour depending on your skin type and condition:
GREEN
Australian Soft Green clay (inc Bentonite) is the strongest and most absorbent of the clays, particularly suited to oily or acne-prone skin. Green clay detoxifies the skin and reduces and balances sebaceous production; it revitalizes tired, dull complexions, leaving the skin glowing with vitality.
BLUE
Australian Washed Blue clay is perfect for the treatment of oily and problematic skin as it regulates sebum flow, cleanses hair follicles and dissolves impurities on the skin.
YELLOW
Australian Golden Yellow clay (inc Kaolin) is excellent for all skin types. It is a mid-strength clay that has a tonic effect, improving the condition of tired and devitalized skin. An excellent pick-me-up.
PINK
Australian Pastel Pink clay (inc Kaolin & Iron Oxides) is mild enough for use on all skin types, particularly skin losing its tone. It cleanses, firms and tones the skin, especially with repeated use. Aside from the face, it’s also great as a body mask for the bust, neck, upper arms and stomach.
WHITE, or IVORY
Australian Pure White, or Ivory clay (inc Kaolin) is the gentlest and least absorbent of all the clays. It soothes and softens the skin and is suitable for sensitive and dry conditions, even for the elderly and young. White clay can also be used to tone down some of the stronger clays to make a milder mask, or to mix with some of the darker clays that are prone to staining when used alone – for example, mix a ratio of 10% deep red clay to 90% white.
ALSO AVAILABLE: pure Deep Red and Midnight Black clays (not premixed with Mineral-Lite), as nourishing additives to the other clay colours.
RED
Deep Red clay (inc Iron Oxide) is an oily clay with a gentle absorbent action, particularly good for dehydrated and mature skin. NOTE: While deep red clay is very gentle on the skin, used alone it is prone to staining. Red clay should always be mixed with another clay at a ratio of 10 – 20% maximum, so we supply it as-is, without the added Mineral-Lite, so you can mix it as you desire.
BLACK
Midnight Black organic superfine clay contains great iron and oxygen properties. It is a non-toxic mineral with cleansing and conditioning agents, particularly good for nourishing the skin. As with the red, black clay may be prone to staining so it is recommended you tone down your mask by mixing it with one of the lighter clays, such as white. Black clay is supplied as-is, without the added Mineral-Lite, so you can mix it as you desire.
THE DIRECTIONS ARE SIMPLE:
Prepare a mask by placing a heaped teaspoon of clay into the porcelain bowl. Gradually add enough water or hydrosol* and stir with the spatula to form a smooth paste. Apply a thin layer to a clean, damp face, neck or body, avoiding the nostrils and eye area, then lie back and relax for 15 minutes – perfect in the bath. If your skin is dry or sensitive, don't allow the mask to completely dry – spritz with liquid when you feel it beginning to dry out. After 15 minutes moisten the mask and use the sea-sponge supplied to remove the clay. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. Avoid using cream or oil for an hour or two while you allow your skin to breathe.
* Hydrosols, or floral waters, are a by-product of steam distillation of Essential Oils - the waters are infused with the oils, yet are gentle enough to use straight on the skin. Payment may be made by DIRECT DEPOSIT (preferred), PAYPAL, or VISA / MASTERCARD if you call your number through. Please make your full payment within 72 hours of auction end in order to avoid the item being relisted. If you need additional time to pay, simply make contact and let us know. If paying by direct deposit please use the Ebay Auction Number or your Ebay ID as a reference, otherwise there could be delays in processing your order.
SHIPPING
We're happy to combine postage for all auctions completed within a 7 day period, and always aim for the most economical postage option available. Pay the standard postage for the most expensive item, then add $1 for each bottle of Essential Oil, or $2 for any other AQ product, to a MAXIMUM of $10.00, no matter how many items you buy. Simply request a total from the Checkout Screen and we'll send through the updated postage cost (please don't rely on Ebay to be accurate unless you've requested a total). Items will be shipped as soon as possible after payment has been received, and we'll confirm their status every step of the way.
