Beautiful Art Deco Reproduction. EXOTIC ART DECO SCULPTURE "ANTINEA" AFTER CHIPARUS This is a magnificent ART DECO STYLE SCULPTURE, figurine of an EXOTIC DANCER, titled "ANTINEA". This stunning piece has exquisite detail, and is a one of the more extravagant by the French artist D H Chiparus. The sculpture is large measuring 52cms tall. The body of Antithea is a beautifully finished , her clothing and the cape finished in a cold bronze with detailed hand finishing throughout. The base formed a natural pairing to the sculpture becoming part of the design and form. This is a superb piece of Art Nouveau art cast in designer resin and stands on a black faux marble base. The base measures 27cm wide 8cm deep and 8 cm high.
