Nice old[ I think bakerlite] shell shaped adjustable either bed side or desk lamp.Working order .There is a very small split on the base see photo almost unnoticable but I do mention it. The light could do with a clean. An unusual deco light with a switch at the front and three prong plug.and shell shade. email with any questions.
