LOVELY ANTIQUE/ART DECO 2 DRAWER SOLID TASSIE OAK CHEST OF DRAWERS/ SIDEBOARD/BUFFET/LAMP/HALL/SIDE TABLE. C1930's.
On offer is a stunning (approx) C1930's, Antique, Art Deco solid Tassie Oak chest of drawers, sideboard, buffet, lamp, hall, side table. This Fabulous, survivor of the Art Deco period epitomizes the flamboyant, decedent design features so sort after from that era. This quality 2 drawers chest features dovetailed drawer joints, curved edges to the top, rounded front and side edges leading down to a scalloped skirt and highly decorative feet. It has been cleaned and refinished in traditional French Polish, is a dark oak colour with contrasting light honey Maple coloured veneer drawer fronts and has handmade hardwood drawer handles. A perfect addition to any bedroom, use as a TV/lamp/side table in the lounge, sideboard/ buffet in the dining room or make a statement in the hall while hiding away all those bits and pieces that seem to gather there. It will make a fabulous addition to your antique/art deco décor but would look equally stunning in today's modern contemporary home. It certainly has that WOW Factor!
CONDITION:-
In excellent pre-loved condition. With only minor signs of wear and tear for its 70+ years as it has been refinished (see pics). The drawers are clean inside and they both open and close smoothly. This chest is of very heavy, solid, sturdy construction.
