Dark brown wood veneer art deco table with a stained & oiled finish dating anywhere from 1920s-1930s, it is solid timber except for the D-shape which is made using 3-ply plywood (a process which dates from 1905); table is in original condition with a lovely age patination; the veneered top is applied in 2 pieces - there is some splitting here but not loose or missing & doesn't detract at all; the curved centre section sits on a stepped base and the feet are curved also; it is in good condition for its age with signs of wear to be expected and a few marks however attractive in shape & style; it is a lightweight item with plenty of arcs and angles true to the deco style of furniture and it measures 75cm wide x 45cm deep x 52cm high
