ART ENGAVING HUNTING DOGS MARKED LONDON PROOF

I know nothing of this early engaving other than the fact that I purchased it at the estate sale of a well known Canberra antique dealer. The subject is a pair of hunting dogs in classic pre 1900 style. There is a fair amount of brown spotting. I can't see a artist's name but there is an embossed marking to the lower corner that reads illegible London Proof. There is also an interesting touch of a dog's profile sketched into the white border below the engraving. The print measures 17 by 14 inches overall and the image is 9 1/2 by 7 inches.
