This unusual original painting on by the Armenian born Adelaide Artist ARTOUR AVETISIAN was a specially commisioned gift received by a friend on her 50th birthday.
The painting is now being offered for auction.
 
This painting is a rare example of this artist's work as he is mostly known for his naturalistic nudes and still lifes. 
His large works sell for over $1000 in Adelaide galleries.
 
Painted on paper in oils the painting is surrounded by two coloured boards of orange and metallic.
The painting is framed with glass in a glossy red frame.
