A pristine 50 cent mint roll from 1982 .

Brisbane was the host to the 12th Commonwealth Games during September and October 1982. Over 1,500 athletes from 46 nations took part. At the end of the Games, Australia dominated the medal tally.

To commemorate the event, the RAM released the Commonwealth Games 50 cent coin - it had a fairly healthy mintage, but mint rolls are scarce so they regularly sell for more than catalogue value.
