The first Australian decimal proof set to include a commemorative 20¢ coin.

Australia has been producing proof year sets ever since decimal currency was introduced in 1966. Proof coins are the same as those we see in our change, but are struck with specially prepared machinery on specially prepared blanks - the designs always stand out magnificently.

The 2003 proof set honours the contribution made to Australia's society by our volunteers, and is important if only because it includes not one but three commemorative coins! (The first set since 1988 to introduce three brand new coins).

The coloured 2003 $1 coin is only available in the proof set, while the commemorative 20¢ coin is the first to be included in a proof set.

The coins in this set are in perfect condition, as is the packaging.

Condition guaranteed in writing, we are members of ANDA and are bound by a strict code of conduct. Full refund provided within 7 days of receipt if you are not 100% satisfied.
