G412 VINTAGE CUSTOM CAB

This is the new full sized Avatar Vintage G412 guitar cabinet. It is styled after the 60's Bluesbreaker type 412 closed back cabinet. It features a slanted front speaker baffle board to point the speakers up slightly towards the player. The construction is all  voidless Birch Plywood with black tolex, white piping and wheat grille cloth. .

The cab has two recessed round metal bar handles and a rear metal jack plate with duel 1/4 inch jacks for daisy chaining with other cabs. Switchcraft jacks and thick oxygen free internal speaker wire are standard 
The FOUR 12's are rear mounted with T nuts which make it easy to swap out speakers for tone experement. We have many choices of  quality Celestion speakers to choose from to fit your own personal tone preferences. please go to Celestion .com to read about or listen to sound samples to help you decide which are the best for your playing style.
at present these cabs are available with the famous vintage 30's,however we can upgrade them to the famout alnico gold speakers if you wish for an aditional cost.

Vintage 30

The Vintage 30 resulted from Celestion’s early steps to preserve the tonal characteristics of vintage speakers while using contemporary materials and construction techniques.

As the 1970s progressed and guitar amplifiers became more powerful, guitarists began to demand the tone of the Celestion Blue in a speaker that could handle more power. So in the early ’80s, Celestion made pioneering use of Laser Doppler Interferometry to analyse the cone behaviour of an original Celestion Blue. We could then form a precise model of our vintage speaker characteristics and apply it to a speaker design using new materials for greater power handling.

The result was an instant classic. Seemingly twice as loud as anything else at the same power level, the Vintage 30 handles massive overdrive sounds with ease. Tight bass, fat mids and a smooth, harmonically rich top end have made the Vintage 30 an excellent 4 x 12" loudspeaker.
