Avent Magic is amazingly spill-proof whether shaken, thrown in the air or left on its side.Yet it is easy to drink from. The spouts with valves also fit the Feeding Bottles so they become spill-proof too.

The secret is the patented non-spill, easy-sip Philips Avent Magic Valve found only in the Philips Avent Magic Cup. While drinking, the valve flexes open for air to flow in, allowing a continuous flow of liquid out. That means less suction is needed, making drinking from the Magic Cup easy for babies and toddlers. So easy in fact, that you can introduce cup feeding, using the Magic Cup, months earlier than other non-spill cups.

When not in use, the Magic Valve closes so no messy spills occur. The cups are easy to assemble and take apart and are dishwasher safe.

1. Can the cups / spouts go into a dishwasher?
Yes, they are dishwasher safe, but food colouring may discolour parts.

2. Can fizzy drinks go in the cup?
No, this will stop the valve from working.

3. What is the life span of the spouts?

The recommend life span is 2 to 3 months for safety and hygiene reasons.

4. How can the cups and spouts be sterilised?
All the components can be sterilized using a Philips AVENT electric, electronic or microwave steam Sterilizer or boil for 5 minutes.

5. How does the valve work?
When baby sucks the valve opens allowing air to flow, giving a continuous flow of liquid - when baby stops sucking the valve closes.

6. Can I mix and feed formula milk in the Magic Cup or Magic Sportster?
We do not recommend mixing formula in the cup, as the powder may clog the non-spill valve and cause leaking problems. Pre-mixed formula can be placed into the cup.
