• This #1 genoa is from an Adams8 racing yacht. It is made from a range of weights of mylar, say 3oz in the luff area and 5oz, dacron backed, in the leech clew and head.  Luff  8.6m x leech 8.13m x foot 4.55m. This sail is in good average condition, with a few repairs only and a few areas where the mylar (clear plastic) has cracked, but no visible delamination. It has been stored wet which has caused some mildew and stains. Otherwise, it is ready to go racing. I would rate the sail 5 out of 10 structural condition. Fitted with a 3mm bolt rope luff with piston hanks added. To use the 3mm boltrope the hanks will have to be removed. Any questions call me on mobile 0408020258. The sail was  made by Macdairmid sails and still has plenty of races left. The performance of these old racing sails will often surprise, especially compared to a dacron sail. It would be suitable for many race/cruising yachts. Not well suited to shade sail duties. Dacron is generally better suited to that duty. Return if unsatisfied. See return conditions below.
