Vintage children's book published by Children's Press, London.  n.d. circa 1949.  Some wear to spine, missing around half of the paper at spine is absent as seen in the pic.  Small-med wear to extremities.Binding is intact however break in endpapers at binding at front and back. Small amount of texta colouring on the 4th and 5th last pages.  The child has coloured over the golliwog's head and santa's eyes. 

Seems quite rare due to the absence of other copies online. Difficult to price.

 Features golliwog type characters in the illustrations. Depicted as savages on an island with spears and shields. Colour used in illustrations are white, black and red.  27pp.
