Agave gemniflora

Agave Gemniflora- Commonly know as Twin-flowered Agave. Beautiful pin cushion type Agave that grows in to dense, compact rosette eventually producing hundreds of spines. Mature size of  1 metre tall by 1 metre  wide. Prefers full sun, but quite adapatable to shade. Plant habit is more upright in high light, more weeping in shade.

The mature gemniflora can bear a narrow tall spike (2.5 to 3.5 m) tall  carrying yellow flowers with a hint of red.                  

This agave grows well in full sun to filtered shade, and is wonderfully drought and heat tolerant, requiring very little water once established. They can tolerate light frosts once established. . 

Agave gemniflora is a delightful, highly ornamental feature plant, and excels as a container plant with its graceful ascending leaves. It can also make a wonderful feature in any garden setting, particularly cactus/succulent type features, and is very decorative and fashionable. 

This auction is for 2 plants  with  a few leaves around  6 cm tall  and will be sent in 45mm pots . Any questions, please ask. Happy bidding.
