Privately Rebound in Quarter-Leather, with papered boards

VG+ Condition

This is the Mandrake First Edition of Moonchild, which was published & printed in 1929, and which has been rebound in black quarter leather, with gilt title & authors name on the spine. The boards are covered in an orange-tan (what appears to be hand-made textured paper), and there a subtle decorative imprint marks, in each of the outer corners (front & back). The page edges have been stained black - so when the book is closed, all the page edges are a uniform black. The endpapers are plain white. The book is in very good condition, with clean, unmarked pages. This is a very rare, and totally unique first edition copy of Crowley's most important magickal novel, and will certainly make an excellent addition to any Thelemic library.
