Alfa Romeo did its homework with the 164and produced a car that behaved like an executive express should. The styling was distinctive, and in 3.0-litre V6 form it makes a beautiful noise, and it has every creature comfort you could wish for.

This is a striking vehicle which is still admired by people.

Mechanically the vehicle is very sound and drives very well. The tyres, battery etc are good and the car has recently been serviced.

The interior is in excellent condition with no wear and tear and very clean.

The bodywork and paintwork are totally original with no dents or rust.

In addition to all of the usual luxury fittings, this vehicle also has a power sunroof and power seats

Very good service history with all books in the original folder and the full original toolkit. A large number of receipts show this vehicle has had a pampered life. There are some minor issues including

· Front passenger window does not operate.

· Heater control requires attention.

· The clear coat has started to deteriorate in places

Inexpensive and exciting in almost equal measures, the 164 is the Alfa you don't have to make excuses for buying.
