Aluminum Tandem Bicycle Crank Shorteners - Used

You are bidding on a pair of used aluminum crank shorteners. These are great for kids on the back of tandems. The crank shortener means the child can ride with an effectively pedaling circle, to account for their shorter legs. There is some corrosion on the screws that attach to the crank arm. These screws snug up the crank shortener so that they don't move around. They are not what holds the shortener to the crank. That is the bolt at the end. It screws into the pedal threads. A bit of WD40 or similar is probably all that is needed to loosen them up. You will also need a very small allen wrench to adjust these screws. Not sure what size it is.
