Here is a unique vintage bakelite reel. It is made by Charles Alvey & Son, Brisbane. The 36A1 was first produced in 1960, the reel was very popular in Victoria for beach fishing. This is quite a rare item. The 35/A1 is easier to come by, however this is a 36/A1 which is not so easy to come by. Diametre is 3 1/2 inches. Postage can be arranged on this item.
