Adorable little Alyssa started out as a "Riley" sculpt by Aleina Peterson, and has been brought to life using Genesis heat set paints in a strawberries & cream complexion.

She has dark brown eyes with light brown eyebrows. She has full arms and legs, all of which have been painted & blushed in all her little creases. I have given her skin a light patchy mottling effect as seen on newborn babies.

Alyssa has a custom doe suede body, and has been weighted with poly beads and stuffed with polyfil fiber, to give a realistic newborn weight feel.

All vinyl parts have subtle veining and she has jointed arms & legs on the body for ease of positioning. It is amazing to see the gradual transformation with each step in the reborning process.

I have made Alyssa a gorgeous baby pink delustered satin dress with 2 rows of cream silky guipure lace on the pintuck edge as well as the hem of the dress. The lace is a butterfly/bow pattern and I have hand sewed little cream pearls in between each bow on one row of the dress as well as the waist and peter pan collar, then trimmed with baby pink satin ribbons. Wide pink lace edges the sleeves as well as the matching pantaloons. The dress opens at the back and has 3 press studs down the back. I have also made her a white satin bib with her name embroidered on it and trimmed with delicate white & pink lace, plus a cream lacy headband.

Alyssa also has a white floral onesie that has a skirt attached at the bodice. She also wears a little pink beanie nightcap with her name embroidered on the front, plus a pair of crocheted bootees.

Alyssa wears size 0000/000 clothes.

Alyssa's hair was hand rooted with the super soft premium wavy platinum blonde mohair from USA, and can be dampened to achieve the style required. I used a light spray of "Johnson's Junior Easy combing spray", and then combed lightly to achieve the style. It can be combed straight or fluffed up with your fingertips when dampened to get a wavy style.

Alyssa also has a gold heart charm braclet & a pink teddy to snuggle with tucked into her pink lace trimmed baby blanket.
Alyssa has a magnet behind her lips to hold her dummy.
