I am a contemporary Australian painter and I work from my studio in Brisbane, Queensland. In 2000, I completed a Bachelor Of Visual Arts at the Queensland University of Technology.

My work is a playful interpretation of Australian culture and scenery. The notion of “play” is an underlying theme across all my work, whether in concept, or in the delivery of paint to canvas.

When painting, I employ gravity and spontaneity to express the natural fluidity of paint and to achieve the incidentals and accidents found in nature.

Each work is multi-layered, I use a combination of traditional and non-traditional techniques, and experiment with paint mediums, colour and texture. It is this element of risk, employed in the studio, that ensures the growth and development of my work.
