1. PLANT DESCRIPTION

  • Vigorous, upright annual with showy red foliage reaching 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall. Terminal flowers are red or green with flat tops. Blooms from summer through fall. Ideal colorful border plant or in containers for patio accent. This vegetable is grown and can be eaten much like spinach.

  • Approximately 50 Fresh Seeds

2. HOW TO GROW

  • Sow under cover in Mar/April (mid spring). Will only germinate when soil temperatures are above 70F/21C. HNeeds regular water. Grow in moist soil, moderately fertile and humus-rich. Harden off and plant out after last frosts.
