During 110 buying trips to Indonesia, Rick found large quantities of Chinese porcelain everywhere but too expensive. Sometimes lucky, he found Sung on Sumba Island and on Sulewesi (Old Makassar), Ming also from Sulewesi & Sumatra & Ching from Lombok Island. Bali also had Ming and Ching. The Sawangkalok pieces are all from Sulewesi. Most pieces have been excavated from old town and village sites. There are still pieces available from these locations but at exorbitant prices.

Over the next 5 months I will be auctioning off the entire collection of 'Rick Bennet" Rick had Tribal Art Galleries in Cairns, Noosa & Brisbane (Queensland Australia) during the 70's, 80's and 90's. Rick came into a sizable amount of money in the 90's and acquired large quantities of artifacts and Oriental antiquities. He has now retired hence this dispersal.
Rick has one of the largest collections of authentic antique primitive tribal art from Indonesia, PNG, (Papua New Guinea), East Asia, South East Asia, South and West Asia, East Asia, Japan, China, Australia, Pacific Oceania, North Africa, South Africa, Fiji, Irian Jaya, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra, Noumea, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Cook Islands, Easter Island, Samoa, Micronesia, Polynesia and Melanesia.
