Antique Aalborg glassworks large cut glass jug

This lovely elegant jug is in very good condition.

The jug is a piece that is similar to the piece below identified as a piece from Aalborg and a similar jug can be seen at the web page below.

Aalborg jug

The jug is similar in size and shape. The jug has a drawn and applied handle. There are some fine bubble and impurity inclusions and the base has a polished pontil. The piece has been cut with a star pattern around the centre.

There are no chips or cracks to the piece. There are some small scratches to the outside.

The jug is 245mm tall and 105mm across the base.

The jug weighs 870gms.
