Antique Biscuit Barrel Cookie Jar Glass & Silver Plate







Antique Biscuit Barrel
Cut glass base is frosted and cut to look like barrel struts.
Rim, Swing Handle and Lid is silver plated
Nob on lid is a coiled piece of wire ( looks like rope)
 with a "Biscuits " sign attached.
No makers marks,

 I would think this is English in Origin.

CONDITION

Some scuffing and wear consistent with age,
The frosted glass base is in good condition, no chips or cracks.
 The silver plated rim has some wear to the plate on the edges,
the lid also has some wear ( see pics )

Generally nice vintage condition.

Colours may vary slightly
depending on your monitor settings

MEASURES

Stands about 18 cm high to top of finial
Barrel is about 13.5 cm high.
