Antique Brass

Double Sovereign Case

This lovely very old item once used to carry Gold Coins, a full and a half Sovereign. It is made of brass in good condition but has a few tiny dinks. The area inside is probably nickle plated and still in good condition. The chain loop and opening catch IS MISSING but I'm sure it could be replaced by a good jeweler. The case can be opened with your fingernail. The coin retaining springs are strong and would hold a coin firmly. The outside has initals R P. This Sovereign case and would grace anyones vintage collection. Sensational!
