Lovely old antique cannon,possibly circa 1800's, I am not sure, although there are some interesting markings shown, this has the feel of very heavy solid brass and is in very original condition.

The barrel is 23.5cm in length; the wooden base about 21cm in length.

I purchased the cannon in what used to be known as the OLd Dutch East Indies, many years ago.This is no reproduction the cannon has the feel of real antiquity, I suspect the barrel part may be possibly 17th century.If it is then it's worth a lot.Maybe, someone can let me know.

The wooden base and wheels, I can't verify, although they were purchase with the item.

The item would be a fine decorative piece in any setting.

Please somebody let me know about it's probable origins.
