Antique Chinese Cabinet

Also Purchased in the Chaowai furniture market in Beijing in 2002 (See our other items), this Cabinet has served me well for years, albiet rather sadly in the garage

This was relocated to australia when we returned as expats from China

This bookshelf comes complete with its own history, though Im not too certain what it is.

This is being sold for the genuine reason there is no room in the new place we are moving to

 

Dimensions are

Height 185cm

width (at top) 122 cm

width (in middle)114 cm

Door height approx 110cm

The cabinet has a lower storage hatch which can be viewed in the photos and the shelves are easily removed by those whom wish to put their tv's inside (sigh)

The finish has aquired 'charachter' meaning the pain is peeling off in placed and it has had plenty of bumps, would expect it originated in Hebei province

The back legs are slightly chafered and have worn down a bit but works perfectly well much like any other cabinet
