English Antique EPNS Shell Style Crumb Tray. On the base of the Crumb Tray are 3 tiny shells and 2 ball feet, with the curved base of the handle. On the lid of the Crumb Tray are 2 tiny shells and a thumb rest to hold back the lid. The handle is quite broad and nicely curved. The rim of both the base and lid are scalloped to match the indented shell design. Please see the additional picture of the closed Crumb Tray. We are unsure of the exact age of the Crumb Tray. The Hallmark that appears on the base consists of "JD & S - EPNS - and what looks like a Lamp on its side". Below this is "T835 7." The JD & S could stand for James Deakin and Sons or John Dawson and Sons - both from Sheffield in England and both from the late 1800's - early 1900's. The Crumb Tray is approximately 6.5cm in height including the thumb rest x approximately 17.5cm in length x 12cm in diameter x approximately 2cm in depth when opened. The Crumb Tray is in reasonably good antique condition, with no dents. However, the rims on both the lid and base are very slightly bent and it will need a good polish. Thank You! We take great care with our packaging, using new bubble wrap, foam peanuts and or styrofoam packing where necessary, so please do not hold us accountable for any damage or loss incurred by Australia Post. We do our best to describe each item, including any flaws, however we may unintentionally miss a flaw and for this we apologise for doing so. We will refund only if the item has been grossly misrepresented and returned to us within 7 days.
