Measures: Clock measures 15cm high (6 inches). It is 7.5cm wide (3 inches) and 6cm deep (almost 2.5 inches)
Beautiful antique French carriage clock with alarm. This stunning brass carriage clock is enhanced by original bevelled glass panels to each side showing the superior and renowned platform escapement movement in perfect working order, having recently undergone full cleaning and service ready to use and enjoy. Quite unusually it has an alarm feature - not seen on the "usual" style of carriage clock, and it also has a rare guilloche-style brass front panel, featuring the lovely enamel faces of the clock and the alarm. The clock face is stamped "Flavelle and Roberts Ltd. Sydney & London" who were specialist retailers in Australia in the late 1800's and early 1900's. The clock has no flaws or damage to speak of, save perhaps a few nibbles to the edge of the glass on the door at the back at the bottom.
