Type: Hanging Lamp Frame  

Vintage hanging brass shield shaped lamp. Probably from the early to mid 1900's. It don't think it was made to use glass panels, as I can't imagine how they would have been installed. However, I am including 2 photos showing the ribs from inside so that you may determine the answer for yourself. (See last 2 photos.)

The 4 lb lamp measures 38-1/2" from the ceiling coverplate to the bottom finial and 10" at the widest point. The chain is 17" long.

Condition: Needs a good cleaning and to be rewired for safety reasons. Otherwise, there are no defects --- no cracks, repairs, or missing pieces.
