I’m  reluctantly listing  this beautiful old curtain / fabric  – I’ve had it myself for some considerable time &  it’s just been packed away so I’ve decided to list  it-(along with a large pair of fully inter-lined curtains in the same fabric in another auction )

 It’s Old possibly about 1920s – 40s era – very weighty ,probably suitable for upholstery.

Pale ‘French nicker pink’for the background with the pretty floral design in a nice shades of green ,blue , pale red, pink & gold

 It’s been a curtain but has been unpicked of it’s lining  & header tape , the hem and side seams are still stitched so all you’d have to do is fix a header tape & some lining if you wanted to return it to a curtain. What ever you decide there’s masses of lovely vintage fabric

The brocade is in a fantastic condition , you may find the odd small mark but I didn’t see any , no wear -  Quite heavy  it weighs 2.300 Kgrms – therefore postage costs are steep !
